Hawkstone Golden Ticket 2026 Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. Promoter

This promotion is organized and run by The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd, College Farm, Stow Road, Bourton-on-the-Water, Glos, GL54 2HN.

  1. Eligibility

Open to UK residents aged 18 and over only. Proof of age may be required before the prize is confirmed. This promotion is not open to employees of The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd, their families, or anyone else professionally connected with this promotion.

  1. Promotion period

This promotion runs from 1 December 2026 to 1 February 2027 (the ‘Promotion Period’). Golden Tickets may be found in Hawkstone Advent Calendars purchased during the Promotion Period, and must be claimed by emailing us no later than 1 February 2027, after which no further claims will be accepted.

  1. How it works

A total of five (5) Golden Tickets have been hidden at random in Hawkstone Advent Calendars available for sale in the UK, and a sixth Golden Ticket is available through the Free entry route below. No purchase is necessary to take part; see 'Free entry route' below for how to enter without buying a calendar. If you find a Golden Ticket, you can claim a prize by emailing goldenticket2026@hawkstone.com with:

  • A clear image of the Golden Ticket
  • Proof of purchase of your advent calendar (such as a receipt, order confirmation, or delivery note).

Both the Golden Ticket and proof of purchase must be provided to validate your claim.

  1. Free entry route

You do not need to purchase a Hawkstone Advent Calendar to take part. One additional Golden Ticket is reserved for free entrants and is not hidden in a calendar. For a free entry, write to us at The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd, College Farm, Stow Road, Bourton-on-the-Water, Glos, GL54 2HN, marking your envelope 'Golden Ticket Free Entry', and including your name, address, and email address. Free entries must be received by 1 February 2027. One winner will be selected at random by an independent process from all valid free entries received, and will be awarded this Golden Ticket, entitling them to a year as a Hawkstonian as described in 'The prize' below. Limit of one free entry per person.

  1. The prize

One (1) Golden Ticket entitles the winner to a weekend in the Cotswolds for two people, which includes:

  • Two nights at a hotel, location to be confirmed, with breakfast each morning.
  • One dinner at a hotel, location to be confirmed.
  • One dinner at The Farmer’s Dog Pub.
  • A Hawkstone Brewery Tour.
  • Lunch as part of the Brewery Tour experience. Please note, if for any reason outside of The Cotswold Brewing Company's control, lunch cannot be provided at the brewery, it will be replaced by another lunch of the same value.

Please note: travel to and from the Cotswolds, spending money, drinks outside of the meals listed above, and any extras are the responsibility of the winner. The weekend must be taken within 2027; any part of the prize not used by 31 December 2027 will be forfeited.

Five (5) Golden Tickets each entitle the winner to a year as a Hawkstonian: four found in Hawkstone Advent Calendars, and one awarded through the Free entry route (see above). This includes twenty-four (24) bottles per month for twelve (12) months, with winners able to choose their preferred drinks from our Hawkstonian range. To set up this prize, winners will need to get in touch with us, and we’ll help get everything arranged. As this prize includes alcohol, all deliveries are subject to age verification and proof of age may be required on delivery; we reserve the right to withhold delivery where age cannot be verified. The Hawkstonian year must start within 2027; once started, deliveries will run for 12 consecutive months from the agreed start date.

  1. Booking your prize

This section applies to the weekend prize (see 'The prize' above). Winners must book their chosen dates at least two (2) months in advance. All bookings are subject to availability of the hotel, pub, and brewery. Blackout dates may apply, including (but not limited to) Christmas, New Year, Bank Holidays, and peak seasonal weekends. Once dates are confirmed, changes cannot be guaranteed.

  1. Important information

Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and there is no cash alternative. The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd reserves the right to replace any part of the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Lost or stolen Golden Tickets cannot be replaced, and proof of purchase is required to claim. The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd reserves the right to verify all claims and may withhold or withdraw a prize if there are reasonable grounds to believe these terms have been breached.

  1. Our responsibility

We will always do our best to deliver the prize exactly as described. However, The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd is not responsible for events beyond our control (for example, travel delays, cancellations, or issues with third-party suppliers). Winners take part in the prize at their own risk. The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd cannot accept liability for any loss, injury, or damage caused by taking up the prize, except where this cannot be excluded by law. We reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or amend this promotion or these Terms & Conditions where circumstances beyond our reasonable control make it necessary to do so.

  1. Publicity

If you win a prize, you agree that we may use your name, image, and any comments you provide about your prize for reasonable promotional and marketing purposes, such as on our website and social media, unless you tell us otherwise when you claim your prize.

  1. Personal data

Any personal information you provide when claiming your prize will be used solely for administering this competition and delivering the prize, unless you give us permission to use it for anything else. We will handle your personal data in accordance with UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  1. Final word

This promotion is run in accordance with the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code). The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd's decision regarding the competition and prize fulfilment is final. No correspondence will be entered into. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
