Jeremy recently announced that Hawkstone will be investing millions to save the British hop industry. He can’t grow hops on Diddly Squat farm, and the British hop industry has been in a steady decline since 1885.

We invited over half of the British hop growing industry to the Hawkstone Arms brewery to discuss the problem and see what we could do to help. For British hop farmers, the demand wasn’t there to grow more. So we’ve done a thing. We have made a £2.7m commitment to use 100% British hops by 2028 in all our brews. That commitment will mean a 15% increase in the entire British hop farming acreage. Our last few specials have used 100% British hops, including Nectar, our new 5.6% tropical pale ale. It’s the perfect spring brew made with 100% British ingredients. The great BritHop revival is here. #BackBritishFarmingDrinkHawsktone
