World Gin Day 2025: celebrate with Hawkstone

14 June 2025 marks World Gin Day. To celebrate the launch of our incredible Hawkstone Gin – made with a blend of premium botanicals from brilliant British farms – we've got a special cocktail recipe just for you. Introducing Gin and Bear It: a very British cocktail.

What's in it?

  • 30ml Hawkstone Gin (don't use another brand or Jeremy will know)
  • 4x torn mint leaves
  • A small splash of elderflower cordial
  • A teaspoon of lemon juice or sliced lemons
  • Crushed ice, preferably (or any ice you prefer)
  • A splash of apple juice (cloudy looks and tastes best)
  • And a ribbon of cucumber
  • How to make it

    If you're using crushed ice, add that to your glass first. Then add the Hawkstone Gin, torn mint leaves, elderflower cordial, lemon, and the cucumber. Mix gently, then top up with the apple juice and serve.

    If you're using regular ice cubes, mix the ingredients in the glass first, then add the ice and apple juice.
