Hawkstone 'The Goatfather' Father's Day Competition - Terms and Conditions

Promoter: The Cotswold Brewing Company Ltd trading as Hawkstone, registered in the UK (company number 5252279) whose registered office is College Farm, Stow Road, Bourton-On-The-Water, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL54 2HN ("Promoter").

1. Agreement: By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please retain a copy for your records. These Terms and Conditions prevail in the event of any conflict with other promotional materials.

2. Data Protection: By entering, you confirm you have read and agree to our Privacy Policy (https://Hawkstone.com/pages/privacy-notice) regarding the handling of your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.  You also confirm that you have the permission from your Dad and any other people included pictures submitted as entries to this competition that their personal data may be used in this way and as set out at paragraph 7 below.

3. Eligibility:

  • Open to residents of England, Wales, and Scotland aged 18 or over, excluding Promoter employees and their immediate families, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the competition.

  • Competition runs from 12:00pm 01/06/2025 to 12:00 pm on 13/06/2025.

  • Bulk entries, multiple accounts, entries via agents/third parties, or automated entries are not permitted. Only genuine, valid entries made directly by the entrant will be considered.

4. How to Enter:

  • Tag your Dad in the comments and tell us why you think he should be The Goatfather or post a photo or video of your dad to your story or feed, explain why he’s the greatest dad and tag @Hawkstone + hashtag #TheGoatfather
  • All entries are subject to verification. The Promoter reserves the right to request further information to confirm legitimacy.

  • Please drink responsibly and ensure your video reflects responsible consumption. Videos depicting any irresponsible behavior will be disqualified. 

5. Prize:

  • 5 winners selected overall.  1x grand prize winner will win a one-year Hawkstonian subscription. 4x runner up winners will win a Hawkstone Father’s Day bundle. Winners selected at random from all total entries after entries close (entries close 12:00pm we 13/06/2025). 

6. Prize Details:

  • Grand Prize: One-Year Hawkstonian Subscription: 12 deliveries of 24x Hawkstone Premium Lager (330ml, 4.8%) or 24x Hawkstone Cider (500ml, 5.0%). Prize fulfilment: Hawkstone Customer Service will activate the subscription after notification. Delivery schedules can be adjusted after the first delivery.

  • Runner up prizes: Hawkstone Father’s Day bundle. Prize fulfilment: Hawkstone to reach out to winner to secure postal details via social media.

7. Winner Selection and Notification:

  • Winners will be selected randomly. Before being contacted, potential winners will have their submitted content reviewed to ensure it complies with these terms and conditions.

  • Winners will be contacted via social media DMs on the platform they submitted their video and must respond within 10 working days to confirm acceptance.

  • If a winner is unreachable, ineligible, or breaches these terms, the prize may be forfeited and a new winner selected.

  • Winners' names may be published on Hawkstone.com and social media. The Promoter may use winners' names, images, social media handles, and locations for publicity purposes.

  • The winner's selection is final. No correspondence will be entered into except with the winners.

8. General:

  • The Promoter is not responsible for entries that fail to register or are delayed for technical reasons.

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify entries, request proof of age, and disqualify any entrant suspected of tampering, breaching these terms, or gaining an unfair advantage.

  • The Promoter is not liable for issues with website accessibility or any losses incurred by entering the competition, except for negligence by the Promoter or its agents. Winners' statutory rights are not affected.

  • This competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts (or Scottish courts for Scottish residents).

  • Personal data will be used in accordance with UK data protection legislation.
